About us

BrolinWestrell AB. The company was founded in 2006/2007 by Magnus Brolin and Mikael Westrell. With a vision and intent to combine their experiences from management, psychotherapy and crisis management, they have rapidly and successfully established the company on the market.

Magnus Brolin and Mikael Westrell own 50 percent of BrolinWestrell AB each.

Magnus BrolinMagnus Brolin, registered psychologist and registered psychotherapist, joined the company after working as an operations manager at Visavi AB, where he helped create a crisis support service that he and Mikael Westrell then developed into one of the market’s leading services for psychological crisis management. Magnus has owned and worked in his own private psychotherapy practice and has worked in occupational healthcare, the care of substance abusers, outpatient care and forensic psychiatry.
 

Mikael WestrellMikael Westrell, B Sc in Social Work and registered psychotherapist, joined the company after working at Visavi AB, where his positions included manager of the company’s crisis support service, customer manager and management supervisor. Mikael has worked privately as a psychotherapist for a number of years, prior to which he worked in municipal social services, emergency and outpatient psychiatry and as a psychiatry services manager. Mikael has conducted research into HIV and AIDs issues and has worked clinically on the same issues. He is an experienced speaker in a number of subject areas. 

Per CallebergPer Calleberg, registered psychologist, joined the company after working at Falck Healthcare AB, where his position included management of the company's crisis support service. He also worked with counselling, management and group development, team building, training and consultancy. Per har previously also worked in psychiatric outpatient care. Per also has a B Sc in biology and has more than ten years of experience from both research and marketing in the pharmaceutical industry. Being one of Sweden's most experienced rock climbing instructors, Per is an accomplished lecturer and instructor. Furthermore, he has authored two tutorial books on rock climbing as well as a book on motivational psychology.

Helena Ritzler TenenbaumHelena Ritzler Tenenbaum, registered nurse and licensed psychotherapist, has previously worked as a psychotherapist at Falck Healthcare. Prior to that, she worked as counsellor and key account manager at Visavi AB. Helena has a Ma.Sc. in public health, and during her employment as a research assistant at the Karolinska Institute, she wrote about the concept of health as an assignment for the National Board of Public Health. Her main nursing experience is in emergency medicine.
 

Since many years, Magnus and Mikael have joined forces to work with psychological crisis management, operationally as well as strategically. They have built up crisis contingency plans at many Swedish companies and organisations and have managed hundreds of crises and disasters.

Partners. We cooperate with partners throughout the country, all of whom are experienced psychologists/psychotherapists registered with the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare. They act as BrolinWestrell subcontractors, are supervised by us and report to us. This means that we are quickly able to help clients throughout Sweden when necessary. Through our partners, we can also provide follow-ups and longer more in-depth contacts at local level. Our partners enable us to combine the personal touch with extensive capacity.
